For Bakers

I got tired of chasing payments. So I built this.

You make incredible cakes. Whiskly handles everything else: bookings, deposits, customer communication, the calendar. So you can spend your time in the kitchen instead of the DMs.

Sound familiar?

The way most bakers take orders is broken.

DMs everywhere

Instagram. Facebook. Text. Email. You spend more time managing messages than baking.

Customers who ghost

You spend an hour on a custom quote. They say "let me think about it." You never hear back.

Price shock

You pour your heart into a quote. They respond: "That's so expensive, my cousin does it for $40."

No system

Order details in texts, deposits in Venmo, event dates in your head. One thing falls through and it's your reputation on the line.

There is a better way.

One place for every inquiry. Structured requests so customers come prepared with a budget, date, and vision. Your pricing posted upfront so only serious buyers reach out.

How it works

Simple for you. Professional for your customers.

Customers find your cakes through Whiskly's browse and search. They book directly through your profile with a structured order form, pay a deposit through the platform, and get clear delivery details. You see the order, accept it, bake the cake. Whiskly handles the rest.

You set your prices. You keep your customer relationships. You keep your style. Whiskly is the platform underneath, not a middleman.

What it costs to bake with Whiskly

Right now, nothing. You keep 100% of what you charge. Customers cover a small platform fee, not you. The only cost passed to you is Stripe's standard processing, at cost, with no markup from me.

Down the road, once Whiskly is actually bringing you customers, a commission kicks in. And here is the part I want you to hold me to. You only pay commission on customers Whiskly brought you. Orders from people you already had, or who found you on their own, stay yours. Right now I sort that out with you directly, and if it's ever unclear, I decide in your favor.

When that day comes, the Free tier is 10%. I will never take more than 15% of any order, fee and commission combined. If a charge would ever push past that, Whiskly eats the difference.

There is also a subscription, $14 a month or $99 a year. It does not start until commission does.

You will get 60 days notice before anything changes for you. No surprises.

Why I built it this way

Whiskly only earns when it earns for you. Your customer fee covers my operations during this early phase. Commission only activates when at least 40% of your orders come from customers Whiskly brought you, or after 18 months on the platform, whichever comes first.

That means I'm not extracting from your existing business. I'm building something that grows with you.
